Prayer For The Nations
Prayer for the Nations is something really cool that we have here at OBU. I did not know much about Prayer for the Nations until a couple months ago, when a friend invited me one day. I went with her that night and have been going ever since. There has been nothing but goodness that has come out of it.
What is Prayer for the Nations? People come to pray for other nations every night. And the best part is, everyone is invited! We have books with nations’ names and facts about each one that we go through and pray for a different country every day. We are each given a part to read and pray for about the country, and then we will pray usually either silently and someone will close or all out loud together. Sundays we pray for personal requests and current events and Tuesdays are prayer walk days (which are super awesome). Prayer walks are also on Thursday mornings at 7am, if you like getting up early.
Where is Prayer for the Nations? It is held in the prayer room in the GC. If you don’t know where it is, like I didn’t, it is on the first floor by the Prayer Well.
When is Prayer for the Nations? We meet every single night (except on breaks, obviously) at 10pm.
I would highly suggest going to Prayer for the Nations. It is so awesome and the people who go are super nice. Please come pray for the nations. Each country certainly needs it and you definitely won’t regret it!
