Fall Break Adventures

This fall break was a little different than most, because it will be the last one I ever have! Senior year is full of “lasts,” but this last was one of my favorites. This break was full of fun times, beautiful weather and lots of friends. A few of my friends and I went to McKinney, Texas, to stay with a friend and her family. I had never been there before, so I was excited to see the sights, do some shopping and go to Sprinkles cupcakes, of course!
Since quality time is my number one love language, I was ecstatic to spend this break exploring and hanging out with three of my close friends. We spent several hours at coffee shops trying to do homework, but really, we would end up talking to each other or the few strangers who sat around us that would chime in every now and then. We adventured in downtown McKinney where we ate brunch at Snug and had the most incredible coffee and breakfast sandwich.
We adventured to the little shops and bought probably more than we should and made our way back in the rain in time to eat an incredible home-cooked meal and watch movies. Fall break is a time for a break but also a time to spend with the people you love. But of course, you have to do some serious stuff over break, like homework, or in my case begin looking for jobs because graduation is coming up soon. My last fall break ever was definitely one for the books and I am so thankful I got to spend it with great company in a great place.
