As an American growing up overseas, I've learned to see the world . . . differently. I sound American and act American, but I'm in disguise. Growing up overseas taught me to love football (that's soccer by-the-way), use a spoon as my primary eating utensil, love fried rice, never trust drivers when I cross the road, and criticize American government.
